Not that it's a crime or sin, but am I the only one who thinks this may have been cleaned/polished? The pin is literally glistening, while up around the hinge what appears to be original patina is still there. The whole front just appears clean and polished. Also, there appears to be wear to the paint on the swaz.

Like I said, no sin if it is. It just looks like it's been "tidied up".

Yes I would say it has been cleaned not too long ago. Either way, I like the pins on the early Meybauers.
