The Pour le Merite is a so called "Spanish Fake", you can find it here in the imperial section.

Cant say anything about the aviation badge from the pics, gotta see the back, but would guess fake as well when i look at the other items..

The Knights Cross is the so called "Rounder Copy" and the DKiG is a 70s repro if I remember correctly.

Leave it where it is if you cant get it for under 1000€ to resell..

The guy who did the engraving on the DKiG obviously had no idea about German units - "SS-Panzergrenadier-Rgt. "Das Reich""? Das Reich was the Division, the Panzergrenadier-Rgts within Das Reich was Deutschland and Der Führer. And what has he written as rank? The correct short term for Untersturmführer is simply "Ustuf", here he seems to have added a few letters?

Just a quick update. It turns out that the seller who was given these medals, either sold 4 to a "prominent collector" in Winnipeg or the 4 were sold to said collector before he received this group. I have no idea who this was, and although there is a small chance they were the only originals in the group and unrelated, I am sure there is a greater chance they were fake...The seller still believes these to be original

They always do Stu and that's really sad in some cases. Good news is you didn't get struck with them.

                            Regards,

The CCC is a fake as well, likely marked MH on the reverse. Same with the PAB, looks like a "blob" fake and the carton is trash as well.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

The cap insignia are fakes dating back to the days of disco as our old friend Mr Abenheim used to say.
