MASSIVE KNIGHTS CROSS /GOLD CROSS, GROUPING NAMED with documents and badges, HELP!!!

    Hi all,

I have been offered a massive group and am afraid (as always ) of whether the items are original or not, they came from a European collector who traded a old tractor for them.

The group comes with some random (I think) KC winners and a photo of Hitler, a Knights Cross, a 1941 Gold cross engraved, a Blue Max (looks fake?), a assault clasp, a boxed panzer badge, a SS buckle, SS eagle, SS skull, and WW1 flight badge.

    The back reads:
    SS-Ustufhn. Gerhard Schultz
    SS 383094
    ss-Pz Gren.Rgt. Das Reich"
    8.5.1944

    On the paper it says:
    Schulz, Gerhand, 08.05.1944, SS-Unterstumfuhrer, 6./SS-Pz.Gren.Rgt. "Der Fuhrer"

If they are original I would be very excited to purchase this group as soon as possible. I'm guessing that there may be one original in there if everything else turns out to be fake. I have never had a knights cross nor a 1941 cross, and I have never seen an engraved one.

Please don't laugh if they are all terrible fakes, I'm still learning

Any help appreciated and I will do my best to find more photos if required

    Cheers!

Thank you for the lightning fast response guys, is there anything that looks original? The blue max looked way too new to be original, and I had my doubts but you never know. I too hate it when people put items together to make it seem like a giant group. The medals came from a Belgian collector if that helps.

I do not like what I see here .... The PLM might be a postwar St&L one, but better pix needed.

Regardless that the whole works is likely to be bad, if those prices are current, they'd be clue enough that something isn't right ...

The photos are reproduction as well? Seems the seller really got screwed in this deal. The seller was just adding up the costs and had no idea of value but assumed that the prices were out of date. Breaking the bad news is going to be interesting, as I am sure he will try to sell them as original if I do not buy them....

I would be willing to bet $5.00 there isn't a single original item there.

I'd say he'd better get the old tractor back...
                        Not much hope here...

                              Laughable Engraving !

I have examined my fair share of named / serial-numbered / personalized SS pieces over the years and I certainly don't get that "warm fuzzy feeling" about the engraving on this German Cross!
