Possible Combination "16"-"L/59"?

Dear Friends,

I have a EK2 marked "16" on the ring in a LDO case marked "L/59" on the reverse. The "L/59" looks double stamped.
Both marks are for Aloïs Rettenmaier,Schwäbisch Gmünd.
Is it normal to find a Prasidialkanzlei marked cross in a LDO marked case from the same maker?

I don't think it's normal, but there are no L/59 stamped crosses so a 16 would be the best one to put inthere..
I have a LDO case stamped L/59 like yours, and they are hard to find.
