if they were only real...a Souval display

Hi frieds, I know that here are some friends of Souval Knight Crosses and Grand Crosses. So I would like to show you my little collection.
I just found the time to take a pictures of my crosses.
They are all made by Souval (except the 57er piece, it is a S&L KC with magnetic core). Until now there are 6 Knight Crosses (with different marks) and one Grand Cross with gilt frame (800 and L/58 marked).

    Enjoy the pictures.

Have a nice christmas time, Michael

I'd love just one of them as a permanent filler. Great collection. Have a great Christmas and new year yourself.

        Hi Michael,

I lovely array of Souval badges, you know I do like these a lot !
And yes guys, I do know these are all postwar made, but I still believe they are collectible in their own way.
And, also underrated from time to time .

By the way, never seen a Souval Grand Cross in Gold before .

          Hi Michael,

very nice display of Souval Knights Crosses. Especially the golden Grand Cross is very nice. I'm always interested in seeing rare Souval pieces. When I get around I'll take some pics of the "Iron Cross Series" of my Souval post war collection incl. golden OLS with diamonds (thanks Mathijs), Grand Cross & Star of the Grand Cross...

            Hi Michael

Thanks for showing your terrific array of Souval crosses. There seems to be quite a few collectors of these crosses. Values have been really rising. I have a minty GC and two RK's. The very early examples are very well made. Unfortunately as the dies wore out quality dropped off. Too bad.

                Michael,

can you post some detailed close ups of the Diamond Oak Leaves &Swords ? Souval made several different variants over the years with varying quality. I have a silver and golden Diamond OLS Set too and would love to be able to compare them to yours.

                Thanks
                Alex

                          Very Nice

Super Souval Showing. I also appreciated the fine craftmanship that Rudy displayed in his heyday. Comparing some of his older reworkings with the obvious and lazy castings today's crowd of fakers have, its no wonder he has created a niche market in his wares.
