detlev told me he would sell it for us 8 to 900 as the l12 is hard to find, I see 65s going for 450 today, is there something I am missing on this cross? maybe shape?

Hi IMO 400.00 is a little high but not out of bounds. It is a nice cross so no problem there.I have no clue why people are paying crazy prices for Ek1's , 65's are not rare. I think 800-900 USD for a screw back Ek1 is nuts even when marked L/12 or any other maker! We have had several threads about the cost of common badges ETC:and how crazy the prices are getting.

I totaly agree, but find a decent priced ek1 marked 65, I have looked, and they go for 400 and higher, if you know where I can find one let me know I am looking for a 65, these things are snaped up like free candy at a school lunch break,

              David,

I agree 100%, but unfortunately people are paying these prices. Even right here on our own E-Stand. Maybe if some of these sat a bit, the prices would return to something more reasonable and sane. Wasn't very long ago a mint cased EKI would go for around $250.00. Just my opinion, but for friendly trading and selling in a community environment, looks like a lot of quick turn around stuff.
