Posting here pictures of a potential purchase - a German Cross in Gold by Otto Klein "134" which, based upon my research on this Forum and reference material, certainly appears to have all of the features of a period original.
I have seen, held and examined this award which is definitely lighter than most which I have held, which is also reassuring since that is a trait of the Klein crosses. However, I have neither a specific weight nor measurements to present here.
One of the rivets appears a bit unusual, but I believe that overall the rivets are correct.
Insofar as is possible from these pictures, I would appreciate receiving the opinions and comments of WAF members as to period originality - or not - of this cross, please.
Regards,
John
