                    To be honest, I'm not sure if the true maker name is Lind & Meyrer, or Lind and Meyer. Although I've seen both pseudonyms, if you like, on various maker list's on different forums. In my humble I believe it is the latter.

                    I read through a earlier related topic concerning the 70', and the ring stamp/maker mark confusion with the 76'. The '0' digit on the so called 70' cross as the appearance of a badly stamped 6', which again causes some confusion. In my eagerness to help I may have confused the issue a little more.

                      You are right about that. #76 can look like #70,
                      but there are no #70 marked EKII's..
