You have two types - thick and thin. The thin one can be id by the beveled corners. The only R3 which the maker is known is Deschler. All others are unknown. Jim

                    Thanks

Thanks to all. These are not recent buys and have been at least 5 years in my collection. Planning to put them on e-stand and after Your kind words feel very bad to let them go.Nice weekend to all

                        Paint

                        Hi,
I would like to have some more opinions about the paint on the thin version rim.Myself I dont have problems with this but possible buyer wants to be sure that its not repainted and of course I can understand this.I also remember some thread about this situation where it was stated to be quite normal with these early crosses but cant find it.

2 posibilities here : Paint touch that was done after assembly or a missed spot in the hand frosting process - the silver plating turning black and looks like paint .
Hard to tell from this top shot ..... but my first guess is missed corners in the frosting process .
