Assman EK1 ?

I found this EK1 1957 with a Assman mark ???. Opinions ?

I saw a 57'EK1 made by Assmann during my Stuttgart trip, but.. ..I didn't have a digital camera back then and i can't remember if it had that mark. But IMO that mark is a rarity amoung 57's, since Assman wasn't active for a very long period making 57's. Sorry i don't have more specific info for you.
