Wartime or 1957 OL & Swords mini ???

This is the best scan I can provide of this mini.

It's from an early 1960ies HIAG reunion.

Can anyone tell just by the general look of it whether it is wartime or a 1957 mini?

I'm curious.

Appears very close to a post war version I posted some time back , but it seems mine may have only been the cross and oak leaf, can't recall if it had swords or not (stickpin). Only one I ever saw. No comments were ever made on it, not even by dietrich .

Did these minis ever exist with diamonds?

I can't rightly say. But with the ability to make such detailed wartime mineatures, I wouldn't say they didn't , as it seems they made most other awards in mineature. They make diamonds to this day down to one point and smaller. Maybe someone will shame the devil and post one if they have any. I would assume if they did have diamond versions if the awardee wanted to have a mineature , as that is the job of jewelers,although I would guess they would still have to be a little larger.
