How rare are your mm on EK II:s?

Does anyone have a list of estimated rareness of different maker marks on the EK II? Which maker are the most rare and which do you think is the most common. Any information about this is very welcome! Are 137 rare? Are 4 very common?<O</O

    Thanks<O</O

I bought a 60 marked EK2 a few weeks ago. I tryed twice here to see if there are others who has this maker. Zero. None had it. I do not see that one at dealer sites either. I think that 60 marked EK2 i have to be rare.

    Cheers.

Blitz is said to have had a manufacturer statistics thread going on somewhere at this forum. I have searched for it without any luck. Does anyone know the name of the thread or where I can finds it?

About rare well 4 are common and that 137 will have to go in rare section. And Blitz have a rarity stats but thats for EK 1. Ask him if he wants to poll one in EK 2 also.

Here you go, though it is only about EK1s.

If there is a true need for a 39'EK2 rarity stats, no problem, i'll create it and uphold it. But. I need to be sure that there is a need for one before i create it. So i'll do a poll just to be sure and get the moderators opinions also.

I think that such a list would be very worthwhile.

Here's a thread that I tried to maintain a while ago. It shows which Makers have been found on EK2's. Might be a good place to start.

I agree - very usefull - but Antti, can I suggest that instead of having just one column for 'unmarked' that you specifically include Schinkelform A, Schinkelform B, and Round 3...the rarest ones are usually unmarked!

                  Regards

The column you are referring to was made by Dietrich, i had no part in that. The stats have all the different variations named.
