            Congrats

Very nice vaulted WWI EKI pin back Stefan. She shines nice after almost 10 decades removed from hibernation.

              Hi Don ;-)

              When I compare, a L/12 marked EK1 SB, I see a different Core- and Frame-Design!

But the pinsetup is imo like WW2 or like K&Q!!! So according pinsetup, I would say WW2 Edition!!!

And hope you know that during the WW2 periode I have seen 3 different Juncker EK1 1939 Cores! One of it were a W&L Core !!!

So, if W&L made also the 1914 core, for the Juncker EK1, it could be a poosible explaination.

Final the Pinsetup is 100% WW2 and imo a cross of the wehrmacht.

Here a bigger Picture of the Juncker Screwback - see EK1 # 3

Or was this Pinsetup used already during the WW1 phase?

                    Hi Stefan,

Actually this core is yet another one from AWS -- their first WWI-era core, which I know in some WWII-era Juncker as well. The frame on yours is Juncker's second wartime frame in my opinion -- the famous "crunch-bead" frame.

Here is an AWS, made in WWI, with the same core:

We call this the "1. Type" AWS core:

In my opinion you have a very nice cross made by Juncker in the first half of WWII
                    Best regards,
                    Streptile
