Looks like a good cross, but has the core been oiled or painted? It seems oddly shiny.

I'm not sure. Been trying to figure it out. Possibly treated with something at some point? Doesn't detract from it a whole lot, though. I think the flash could be making it slightly more shiny than it is. I am going to try to get some more pics in outside lighting.Comment
