I have studied the Souval article I just cant seem to grasp the difference.

Further to my last...don't try to "fix" the ring where it's not attached on the reverse side of the EKII. They were made that way and are a known characteristic of Souval EKII.

Good Souvals , they look period to me , too . I like the sharp radial corner .

Upon closer inspection I found the pin is cracked part way thru but not repaired.
