DKiG awarded to Oberleutnant (Ing.) d.R Hugo Seggermann
Leitender Ingenieur des U-Bootes "U 862", 12. Unterseebootsflottille
Awarded on: November 3rd, 1944

Seggermann DK is not an original German piece, but a much rarer Japanese made piece. Seggermann received it whilst serving in the far east.

It was donated to the Deutsches U-Boot Museum by the original owner and the Museum have his written authentication detailing where and when he received it.

German crosses today

The formal document to Stabsobermaschinist Franz Persch, along with a km backed german cross in gold and shoulder boards indicating his rank. He ended the war in the Far East having received his german cross from kapitan Dommes in I believe Singapore . He was serving on U 181.
