    The guy who offered these told me this belonged to his Dad. I think they are not real but I want to head from more informed members.

            Those are genuine vet pickup oakleaves-I think the vet was from the Battle of the Bulge. Awarded to General Kohler. Played admirably by Werner Peters born 1918. Only Laure Lourie (Costume Design) can explain who made them. More info on this vet can be found here;
