              Druschel

Druschel's formal award documents were sold several years ago by Kai Winkler. The RK and EL documents were in good condition, but the Swords document was water damaged.

Hi to all! A very interesting photo of RKT Leutnant Willi Unger, awarded the Knight's Cross on October 23rd, 1944 as Fahnenjunker-Feldwebel and pilot in the IV.(Sturm)/Jagdgeschwader 3 "Udet".

His medals are in the background.

Last year, some people wanted a better photo of his "rare" document, dated 1943. I managed to get them from Hermann-Historica, so the experts can make the proper analysis and get us out of this doubt

Oberleutnant der Reserve Uhde was awarded the Knight's Cross as the leader of 11./Grenadier-Regiment 424 with which he saw the fighting and conquest of cities like Novgorod, Sinyavino, Schlüsselburg and Lipki.

Any help is welcome, as always.

                      Regards,
                      Sepp.

The Hans Uhde Urkunde is indeed rare example due to the date (1943). I believe the document to be a nice original, though I'm not keen on the signature.

those pictures of Willi Unger are really cool. Very nice.
Is it all original or replicas?
