Swords awarded to Kapitän zur See Wolfgang Lüth

Awarded the Swords: April 15th, 1943
This strange example of Luth's Swords were sold by A. Thies on the last auction. According to the family of the famous U-boot ace, this set was a field edition of the diamonds (given to him on August 9th, 1943). This probably was made by Luth himself after receiving the news of the diamonds award, on board his submarine.
