          Your research certainly is top notch I must say! Is there any chance you know the whereabouts of Helmut Strojek's Knights Cross or anything related? I saw you posted a newspaper clipping showing Mr. Strojek in the '57er's section.

            Thanks for the words Steve, but I make my share of mistakes in the thread from time to time. It's a good site to learn, that's for sure!

            I get a lot of help from fellow WAF members and friends also!

            No idea about Strojek's KC. Just the postwar newspaper I showed some years ago.

                Prof. Dr. Karl Ernst Laage (* 9 June 1920 in Kiel) died today in Husum in Northern Germany. He got his KC on 26 November 1944 as a Leutnant der Reserve and Führer 1./ArtRgt 66.
