    Doubts on a L/57 Spange

I put this on EStand in good faith from my small collection but a member has cast doubts on its authenticity...any comments would be welcome.(This is the best my camera can manage!)

Is it very helpful simply asserting 'it is a fake'? I could equally say 'It is a genuine piece,' and find one other to support this view.

On GCA there has been much discussion as to the L/57 Spange, and whilst I am not an expert (who is?) I do want to learn about these things, and would welcome further reasons as to your assertions.

          Spange

Please post clear and bigger pictures of the front an back, also the sides. The Boerger & CP spanges have a very distinctive appearance. Jim

I have asked for better pictures and none posted. I am also a member of GCA and there was no concrete evidence provided that it is good. It is hard to make a reply without your help. Jim

I can only agree with the others, this spange is a fake.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
