    EK1 to EK2 conversion

I know most of y'all don't care for the bashed and denazified awards but perhaps this will be of passing interest just because the conversion is usually the other way. Then again , maybe it was just supposed to be a necklace

      Good lord..

Thankfully it's nowhere near mint...,maybe it was a captured EKI?

Its still in Germany, not sure how much to bid on it; the value of these sorts of things depends entirely on what the highest bidder is willing to pay. Anyway, interesting item for sure. Maybe I should start a thread on oddities, god knows there's enough of them!

Really interesting... I have seen a lot of oddities but never one like this.. If it was inexpensive I would buy just for the uniqueness.

          Thank you, Scott

I have a similarly modified / denazified '39. EKII in my collection. It is part of a post war '57. grouping to a wartime KC winner. It is sewn into a KC ribbon and was worn as a replacement KC in the time before the '57 replacements were available.

            Just some thoughts.
