Wiederholungsspange EK2, anyone saw this case before???

    Hello guys,

found this on the net. I was wondering if anybody has a case like this.
I thought there were only little, carton boxes.

    Greetings

I've never seen or heard of one like that.

          FROM THE SELLER:

The clasp is a nice L/13 maker marked tombak piece made by Paul Meybauer. It comes with the original ribbon in a very rare original case of issue you don't see very often. Both, clasp and case are in very good condition.

You could try posting it in the packets/cases forum. Maybe those guys have some info.

this is a case for a medaille/badge/plakette, who has exact the measure from the inner inlay (the cavity)
I think the case is wartime, but not for a WH-clasp...

              best regards,
              Martin

I have never seen such a set before, and I have my doubts that these two things belong together.

                    Me, too!

It could be wartime, I don't know? However, that being said, I do not believe for one minute that this case is for the EK2 Spange.

As Martin has already said, whatever was intended to be accommodated in this case would likely be of the same shape and dimensions as the recess; hence also the material strip to pry the ''item'' from the base.

                    Kind regards,

                    Marcus

I think the case contained some sort of table-medallion.
                          Not original to the clasp

                            My first thought as well.

I don't think its war time, it looks to be artificially aged to me, particularly the base around the recess.

Good condition outside, worn, aged inside.
