Postwar S&L DKIG or just a fake???
I am not a expert on these, but dont believe it could be wartime, but maybe a chance of being a early postwar piece????

I believe postwar, and further more in the era of the 1957 awards. Hardware looks similar and I believe St&L made both 1957 version and HK version simultaneously ....

Still its a version I'd like to get my hands on at reasonable price ..... these are mainly sold as wartime and priced as such ....

Interesting wreath on that one as it's not they type usually found on a DK with that hardware on the reverse.

Perhaps both the wreath and central disk have been painted. Where are the red edge stripes to the wreath?
