EK2 - Deumer with flaw or?

    Hi guys,
the cross has come to me today.
I just discovered the frame. quantitative errors in the frame. The groove is so thick. Maybe it's a production error.
Either the builder has a lot of sand in the grooves.
It is 43.6 x43, 9 tall and is 19.02 grams. The band ring is 3.
I have 3 identical Deumer-piece in the house. there is not much distinction.

    best regards,
    Jan

in my opinion it 's a worn die that produced these frames, I don't see mistakes by the manufacturer.
in the same looks that many beads are damaged.

      I agree with fabri-online,
that is a tooling problem for a little metallic piece that has fallen on die, because all you see on "positive" on die is opposite (negative) and the moulding oil help to dirt the tooling.
That problem not is so important to make to change a tooling with a newest. (cost tooling is expansive and cause also a no-profit production during this changement).

The massive frame production, 2 pieces of each EKII, create a many crosses with this little defect, I've seen EKII of other factory with different little damages.

On same case that dameges help to recognize the factory on no marker pieces.

Sorry for my bad english, I hope somebody understand.

No problem about this cross and IMHO not a factory mistake.

      Regards
