Schone tag Daniel,
indeed that is very rare marking mark for EKII 1939 I think is more rare for EKII 1914 made during WWII. (Traum und sehr selten stück.)

Not often to see.

Interesting. It appears that the ring is no longer soldered in it's original position on the reverse side of the frame. Is that so or just an optical illusion?

Same "welding saving" was made for example by Souval - Wien on reverse of frame.
