My First TR EKII

I bought my first EK ever a month or so ago, it was imperial though. I loved looking at it so much I had it framed and hung it on my wall. I was down at the flea market today and a fellow collector who was thinning his collection was there. I've bought a few things from before, nice honest guy, and was happy to see him have an EKII for sale.

He gave me a decent price and his stuff actually gave me the warm fuzzy feelings of originality, rather than the dread of fakes (everything else I got from him was legit). I know enough about crosses to be dangerous, but I don't know all the makers that well. This one is unmarked, so I'll have to leave it up to you guys!

Anyway, I took the plunge! I love how this thing looks, nice black patina and loads of character. Just how I like them!

As far as marking goes, not when I checked it out. Looked at the ribbon ring before I bought it and came up empty.

I must admit that I can't find my loop, so I'm not sure if there is a light stamp somewhere.

There is only this funny little marking on the jump ring.

That is one mark of several - one does find on crosses made by maker 24 !

In hand the marking looks like a piece of dirt! Just so happened to catch the light in the right way so that I could see it! It's very nice to know the maker!

I've gotten consistently nice things from this guy every time I see him. He only is able to sell things sporadically, but somehow I manage to catch him an get something nice each time.

I'm very pleased.
