If it is a 51 then that is why they removed the pin since that is where the mark is found. Guess they decided to tear it all off..

Yes, this is one of those one piece fakes.

I had one in the past and cut of the fixings in the same manner and found the same bronze colour of the base metal showing through where the hacksaw had scraped the rear of the cross in the cutting.
I thought at first that this was my old one, but the scrapes are in different places.
