ek2 for opinion

Hi ,

I got this crosstoday, and was wondering what you guys think in regards to it's originality. Personally, I am not thrilled, don't really like it, but it is not my area of experitise.

Souval frame - but has it had a re-paint?

I'm assuming it it 3-piece and magnetic and not a 1-piece cast of a Souval?

At the very least it looks like the paint is very thin and coming off easily. Could it have been stripped, cleaned and re-painted?

Personally I'd pass on this one, and I wouldn't be 100% happy if an EK arrived in the mail for me like this one. Just my opinion though.

The loop has come adrift as well by the looks.

Souval frame and core. Paint is original and the ring, or loop as it's referred to above, on the reverse sides of Souval frame EKII were not soldered to the frame. It's a know characteristic of this type of cross.

Yes, I remember reading that now about the ring. There's so much to remember on all the different crosses.
