Psychedelic EKI

This is the weirdest C F Zimmermann i ever saw. Paint is almost gone but the veining makes it fit for The Museum of Modern Art. Some creative backlightning (first pic) makes it even weirder.

No Photoshop.

Core is magnetic, no rust at all.

Seems like the black pigment in paint" floated up" before it bound to the core and left the brown at the bottom. Always thought veining came from corrosion under the paint but this is totally different.

The Rorschach test in an Iron cross.
"I can see lots of woman's underwear", what can you make out?
That is bizarre, it's like some solvent was splashed on or.

I see someone trimming their pubes over where it was laying,before they put the final black coat on the primer. Is the back the same way?

Brown primer that veined and black paint adhered better to the veining.

Looks like rusting under the core plating .... that now is 'lifting'/breaking through and paint is chipping off .

Nor have I seen this before. But it makes for a very cool looking cross. I am rather fond of the look.
