The Don Cossack Badge for review

    Hey guys

I am not sure if it is the right section to post, but this is a "cross like" for sure

I have minimum knowledge for this badge, is it any good sign for this example?

and these photos are only what I have ....

    The back marked "Munchen"

    Thanks!!

Why no maker's name...just the city? Completely differant than what's known as the "textbook" example....not referanced in any referance book I have....IMO this is NOT original.

      HiEric

I'm sorry but thats an awful piece of junk and is the most commonly found poor fake at the moment. Originals come in one form only with no variations at all. Here are 2 that I have owned in the last couple of years- take note of the crimping on the reverse....

I really don't know anything about this badge but one thing that I would be questioning is, why did they spell it "Munchen" and not correctly "München". Don't think that would have ever happened.
