camera miracle

well i do have a camera that fore years did his job off photographing sufficiently
enough in my ayes

but a few weeks ago,,,, lemonade fell over it

and on top off that,,(panic situation)
in the saving process it fell out off my hands ( hard )
( it bounced over the floor )

after that
happy photographing was over .

sure ,,,I used a hairdryer to dry it ,,,but,,

it was over ...

or not ?

after a few day's the camera started working again

only it stayed out off focus not matter what I did
and i could not make any closeup photos

so i deliberately smashed the camera on the floor exactly as it was fallen the first time...

and ,,,,,ta taaaaa.

the camera worked perfectly again ...

only i was not photographing with 12.1 mega pixels

but more like 0.2 mega pixels

and it did not improve after throwing it down 3 time after that

so I gave up ..

took the battery out and the card ,,

and start looking fore a nice funeral spot in my garden .

on the funeral day i could not hold on to my emotions
so I put the card and battery back in fore a last goodbye photo

and noticed a little hole on the front off the camera

remembering old electric stuff off the old day's have such a hole to reset

(by pocking in it with a pin)

I try just the same thing .

Would not expect a Digital Camera to survice such a treatment...lucky you

I am waiting for Canon to show or tell about their new cameras at Photokina this year. I would really like a replacement for my old EOS 450D/EOS Rebel XSi. I am hoping for a entry level fullframe camera to be announced.

I was wondering what was going on it this thread till I got to the end and the wonderful cross. Our children dropped our last digital camera a number of times and it still works, dents and all. Glad your camera has come back from the brink as well.
