I understand what you are trying to say and I agree with you. I too have several graduate degrees. Had I (and most graduate students) even tried to submit a manuscript like this to our committee, our committe chair/advisor would have had pulled it and the student researcher aside for reworking. Good manuscript writing should best reflect truth in reporting and this truth is ultimately the final validity check. This is something best accomplished through collaboration which is what takes place every day here on the Forums. When it goes haywire, there are numerous moderators to help keep the lines from tangling. In this regard, our moderators do an awesome job!!
