    KC Ribbon

I came across this KC ribbon recently and would appreciate opinions. It passed the black light test (no florescence), and has a 24 white thread count. The concern is the black cord edging: the edging appears to have the loop or 'hump' shape most collectors believe to be original, but the loop portion appears to have been folded over on itself and stitched down creating more of a flat appearing edge. I've tried to highlight a few of the folded U shaped 'loops' in rows along the top edge of the ribbon in an enlarged photo.

Most likely a post war piece, but your comments are appreciated.

Very difficult to see .... but from what you explain, most likely modern made piece of KC ribbon.

This ribbon is improperly made to be real. It is reproduction.
