Need Help to identify the maker of this EK1 with WW2 frame!

    Hello again,

hope someone know this number design.
    All No.1 have a fishtail like Assmann 1939 EK1!

    http://www.ek1-dna.de/unknown-maker-...or-l-54---.php

But the 1914 EK1 look different!

Please help me, to find out! Do someone know a EK2 1939 frame like this?

    Round 3 ???

The frame have the typical WW2 size!

    Hi Stefan,

The maker is AWS, and it is from the 1920s, not WWII.

It's a nice one and probably not magnetic.
    Best regards,

        Hi Trevor,

yes the EK1 is none magnetic.
Why did AWS use on 1920s a WW2 frame form?

I'm not sure why AWS designed their frame like this, but they used this same frame since c. 1890. Yes, it looks like the traditional WWII frame form!
