Could it be the 4 rivet heavy Deschler???

Indeed Deschler made piece .... but IMO the enamel from the swastika has been repaired and the screw on the back looks too modern for me ....

Edit ... kinda reminds of this one I own : http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ight=screwback

Enamel certainly has some wear at the center, but not repaired. The screwback could always be 'more modern', it's really impossible to tell, though naturally refelcted in the low price. It has been there long enough to build a clear shading / patina on the reverse. How long would that take?

Regarding how long it takes for an award to build patina i'm not certain, Although it is also possible that the original screw was lost and this one was made up in it's place?

                  Just a thought...

The aluminium disk has been there a while, look at the patina on the medal back and also on the front of the aluminium disk. The underside of the attachment disk appears clean as will a Regimental steins inner lid of 100 plus years old.

I had a Bronze horse riders award from a vet many years ago with a similar aluminium screw in disk.
