Weird EK spange

I recently came across this rather mysterious EK spange at a local antique dealer. Its got rather crude EKII clasps on the reverse, but the spange itself is an EKI. Now I know there's no way this could actually have been an EKII, but what about an EKI?

I can't tell black from white on these spanges, so any help is appreciated. Since the pictures are quite large I've had them hosted here. :>

IMO that is a fake. Look at the casting line going around the side and the bubbles on the reverse. You should resize the pics and post them here.
