I only have this photo and I was wondering about the embossed border around the edges. I don't have much experience with these but haven't seen that kind of border before.

Case

It looks like a late war case, but more photos are needed and you should post it in the case/envelope forum. Jim

That can be acceptable but better photos of the entire case would help. This is most common on cases with a black insert.
