    Help pls

    Dear Friends,

I need your opinion about this Eki. I have bought it with blury pictues but it was clear for me that it is '24'. Seller gave guatantie on originality.
When I got it in hand was clear for me it was repanited and I claim it. Seller refuse me claim saying that ek is still original.

70 Jahren natürlich nicht mehr so aus wie am Tag der Herstellung, das habe
ich dem Käufer auch so mitgeteilt !

I have two quesions for you - first if the core in your opinion was repainted and if so can it be still sold as full oryginal EK?

Thanks for your help and all the best
    Michal

Repainted or not imo it's still original. I think the seller should have stated it was repainted. Is there a return policy? Or was it priced accordingly?

          Hello,
I think it's an original wide frame 24 also but think it's been re-painted
          Regards

            Original? Yes.

            Untouched? No.

I would be returning it for a refund if it was not sold as being re-painted.

A blurry picture these days ?
.....= trying to cover something or make less visualble/noticable .
This cross has been painted . --> therefor -- this cross is : " NOT completely original " !!! Not mentioning this fact( painted ) with the blurry picture is deception .
Paint is part of the originalness !!!

I think the core is not repainted but it lost part of the original paint I think most probably someone used a solvent to cover the iron.

                    Hi Fabri,
I think you are wrong - take a look again and you will see rest of old original paint and over it painted with brush

The arms had bare spots and they have been covered .... with black material . I do not see brush strokes but from here it looks like the thin coloring could have been 'dabbed' on , it is much thinner than the old paint . The solvent of what ever was used has 'globbed' some of the older thicker paint has gotten on the a few spots of the beading . Gun blue-ing/blackning acid might have been used - but cannot tell for certain .

                          Nice picture :
Some thing was applied probably with a brush that was so strong to loosen and 'bunch the old paint up against the swastika . Not periode paint as this contained some kind of strong solvent compound in it - that was used !
