Interesting cross by AWS with their 2nd (usually non-magnetic) core and wider pin. It's been repainted, as the paint rarely adhered well to these cores. The paint job will diminish the value substantially (I mean, by more than 50%), but the cross is original.

Can't say much about the engraving.

Does it look like the hinge and pin system has been resoldered?
