      Based on all my observation, I think this is the correct case for L/50 Screwbacks (Also L/52, incidentally). I don't know that it is the only correct case, but I also don't know of any other case type that I think is really original to the L/50.

      The case has LDO in a box on the inside of the lid, nothing on the top, a wooden base with unusual black fabric covering the insert.

                        Nice score......and yes tough to find especially with the case. I'm glad you didn't rip it apart like many do here...now you need to find a set of oaks with the same mark that's original to round out the collection.
