Medal grouping of Gerhard Bigalk - including KC!

Hello,

here is grouping of medals - with the following information I could gather so far:

These are the medals and awards from Gerhard Bigalk, U Boat captain awarded Knights Cross for sinking the HMS Audacity. Included in the grouping is a micro 2 KC, which was produced in 1944. Unfortunately, Mr. Bigalk, and his ship was lost in 1942. So, how could he have a micro 2?

I would certainly appreicate input on the KC itself as well as the combination of the remaining medals.
