1939 EK1 Cases

I own a '39 cased L/11 marked EK1 with a white lined case.

I recently found another cased L/11 EK1 which I would like to buy but this one had a black lined case, is it common for the same maker to have both white and black lined cases?

It's probably a dumb question but I want to be sure that the case is genuine to the EK1. I know you experts will be able to help!

Well black or white, black is a bit more rare. And you can not be sure it´s the orginal case for just that cross. I hope you know how to find the makers on the cases.
