    Converted DKiG ( possible Zimmermann ??? )

    Hi gentlemen,

I recently picked up this DKiG ... converted from wartime to 1957.
Am I correct in saying that the hardware on this DK are wartime Zimmermann ???

    Thanks for looking,

    Yes, you are!
And what an interesting piece it is. It shows how much damage needs to be done to a genuine cross to exchange the swastika. This example (and other crosses I have seen) is for me a perfect exampl that the exchange of a swastika will leave traces which can be easily seen.
