    Thanks Leroy. It had more silver over it when i received it, but in my hast to see what was underneath, i used a'silver polishing cloth' and took some silver plating off the prominent areas. ( dang, we live and learn) I won't be doing that again. It will just be a filler. Appreciate all onfo.

      You did not do any harm bey removing the "silvering". There is nothing you could do to this that would make it worse - it will always be a fake.
