DKiG ground dug for cleaning and presrvation

Hi All , I was lucky enough to aquire a DKiG which is fresh out from under the soil and will need a clean . It just looks gray and lumpy . I know you all might like to see some pics but i just cant get them to load up . If anyone has any suggestions as to how and clean it up i would be very grateful. I was thinking soaking in Lemon Juice ?

first i would clean it with an soft sponge with a little bit of soap.

I'd try good old fashioned soap n water first to see where that takes you?
