            Hi Michael,

            Very nice K&Qs.

Your no. 2 and no. 3 have K&Q's first wartime core, this much I know for sure.

I am fairly certain that no. 1 is their last wartime core, and that no. 4 is somewhere in the middle, but that is just a bit of guesswork.

All K&Qs use the same frame as far as I know.

In my opinion, early, unmarked K&Qs with their first core (like your no. 3) are the nicest EK1s made by any maker during WWII.
            Best regards,
            Streptile

Looking for ROUND BUTTON 1939 EK1 Spange cases (LDO or PKZ)

                Thanks Trevor for this explanation...
                then production order could be 3 / 2 / 4 /1
I wasn't sure about the use of only one Frame. I never neen much flaws one K&Q frames...

There is one K&Q Pinsetup Variant missing!
Is ultra rare! The pinsetup was used mostly for KVK1! But a small numbers of EK1 exist with this pin-type! And I try my best to catch one of these

To be honest I think maybe more core/set up exists but I am not looking for every K&Q variations...
As you know, I strongly reduced the size of my EK collection during the last year. (hard to stop an EK addiction, but I'm working on it )
5tefan, do you have pics of this set up ?

knows any one how many care variation there is ?

Nice collection of K&Qs Michael. I think you're missing this one, possibly an intermediate type core with the thin date/fat swaz.
