    EK1 1914 WW2 Edition Unknown Maker ID?

    Hi,

    I cought this very interesting EK1 1914 WW2 Edition!
It is a very rare, none magnetic, one piece EK1 and it is 100% original & war time!

At first I will not show the reverse to avoid, thinking in the wrong direction.

What maker could be behind this ultra rare cross?

Yes, you are right 1914 has nothing to do with the wehrmacht

But this is not the 1914 (Schinkel) Form! The Frame is typical WW2 Frame, but has nothing to do with the Wehrmacht from 1939.

One Piece EK1, none magnetic, grained Core! Didn't read the maker!

Maybe the maker is unknown and very very rare!?

I will post the reverse not today - sorry, but I like to give you a chance!

Very interesting. As Don said, I don't think it's a Wehrmacht cross.

I think part of the solution goes back to our discussion in Trevor's old thread about Juncker Wide Frame Schinkels, 5tefan! lol

The crown on the core does not look like the 3 crowns of AWS's cores (that I am aware of), but as mentioned does has a certain look that is similar to them.

The "W" looks spot on to be AWS style imo. Without seeing the back I can't say for sure. It's looks to be a "wide framed" cross. Can we ask for dimensions or is that also off limit?

I've never seen or heard of AWS or Juncker making one piece crosses though so I would have to say (unless as 5tefan said this is an INSANELY rare cross) that it can't be either of them....

                  April Fools' Day

Yesterday it was the 1st of April and here in Germany a April Fools' Day
Here is the reverse of this EK1 One Piece, none magnetic, weight 3 gr and last but not least original! But only a plating of a foto book and maybe it will be very hard to find the possible maker

Hope you are not to much disappointed.
Sorry for that and maybe a good compensation could be the new function on my homepage
