      Hi Chay,

      Here's the center of my EK2 with a stepped swas. I'll have to dig it out for the maker and scans of the full cross if you want them. I think they've been discussed in the past.

        I picked this one out of my collection. Its a stone mint 13 marked cross with "stepping".

          Hi Guys

          If you look at the EK1 in the following thread you will see it has a stepped swastika. You will get a better image on page 2

              What's a stepped swastika? The ones with like too much paint?

                Hi Giel,

                The "stepped" swas refers to the recesses between the arms of the swas not being level with the arms of the cross (only referring to the core, not the frame/beading). The recesses between the arms of the cross are slightly raised above the level of the cross arms giving a "stepped" appearance.

                You should just be able to see the "stepped" effect on the 4 o'clock and 7 o'clock recesses on the image I loaded above.
