Ek1 spange case?

    Ek1 spange case?

    Had this on the Cases & Packets Forum and only got one reply. tgn thought it might be a EK1 Spange Case. Any other opinions?

        Hi Tim,

        kinda hard to say with 100% certainty when they're not printed with an image on the lid but, given the size/postion of the recess, I would say it is for a spange. Perhaps you can measure the length and compare it to the hardware on a spange as the recess for an EK1 is much longer.

          Case

          The number impressed on the bottom is correct for a spange. Wound badge cases are numbered 629. Jim

              Thank you. Great to know & irrefutable. WAas going to put on E-Stand, but was in doubt and didn't want to say anything that wasn't 100% correct! I put my foot in my mouth so regularly that I'm starting to use different spices and seasonings.

                Tim, I find Basil adds quite a nice flavor to my foot

                  I have a vast preference for parsley, sage, rosemary & thyme. I picked up the habit at a gun & militaria show at Scarborough Fair.
                  If anyone knows what & where that is, you either have just dated yourself or are a frequent GOOGLE user!
